2020 Vision

Posted on : 3rd January 2020

It has been quite a 2019 for People Change Projects. We would firstly like to take the opportunity to thank all of our existing clients, where we have seen our client base and reputation grow considerably alongside that of our very own trusted team of change specialists.

We have worked with some excellent organisations across a variety of sectors, including Water and Water Retail, Policing, Utilities, FS and Accountancy, Housing and Local Authorities.

Our products and services have helped businesses improve capacity, build capability and enable better business performance to deliver sustainable change.

Feedback is a gift

We have received some excellent client comments and feedback this year, you can read more on our website but here are but a few;

“PCP added value to our programme by taking a genuine and personable approach, thereby getting optimal contributions from our teams; providing structure to the programme; proposing a range of different tools for us to use to map, structure, prioritise and communicate the programme elements to different audiences and stakeholders. “

“We engaged Steve and Sara at PCP to work with us as learning partners on a systems change programme called Ignite. Their involvement in our work enabled us to make a step change and brought clarity of focus along with help to build a clear framework to support an action plan for change, along with metrics that will demonstrate progress being made. They did this working alongside us in an inclusive way involving staff within Children’s Services and key partner organisations. “

“PCP were able to easily understand the goals and the complexity and demonstrated a high degree of skill in managing relationships in a way that really supported our work while bringing a fresh perspective to it.  They were reliable, professional and very easy to work with. I would be happy to use them again in the future.

Looking back

It is important to reflect on a busy year and consider some of the key challenges we have helped to overcome. The top 3 lessons we have learned in 2019 are;

  1. Lack of leadership direction, clear sponsorship and certainty in change outcomes makes effective and lasting change extremely difficult. Alignment of goals and trust are a must.
  2. Engaging your teams and understanding your business culture from the outset is key. The entire business must be on the same page with shared purpose, in order to commit, contribute and deliver change successfully.
  3. A solid business foundation is critical to success. A clear and coherent governance and reporting structure alongside optimal processes provides the engine to drive change.

Focusing forward- 2020 Vision

We will continue to work with our existing (and hopefully new) clients in 2020 to not only support and enable end to end delivery of change, but with it we will strive to stabilise the business foundations and functions, ensuring they are solid where we always assess and consider the people elements of change.

*We find this sets you up for greater success and ensures the change is managed and embedded into the fabric of your business.

The coming year will undoubtedly bring with it many challenges and opportunities. We are excited to adapt and evolve with change and are looking to not only grow our own products and services but with it our core team and functions at PCP. We have some very exciting and important news coming, that we will share very soon.

Have a prosperous 2020. Don’t wait for the change to happen….BE THE CHANGE.
